FAQs

In your browser, open up Mifoinc.com. At the top right hand corner of the page you will see a button for sign in. This will bring you to your sign in page. Log in with your userid and password provided.

You can reset your password by clicking on the account setting in the top right hand corner of your home screen. You will have the option to edit password.

The home screen provides current earnings report, accrued earnings report as well as the daily action list of financial opportunities for the day. The home screen also allows access to file uploads and additional dashboards if included in your subscription level. Check the video on how to use home screen

Today’s action list provides your practice’s actual appointments for the day highlighting the specific measures required to close gaps for that patient along with the summary and detailed financial opportunities for that day. Check the video on how to use today's action list

The accrued earnings report allows you to track the amount of incentive dollars that have been accrued but have not met the threshold to move to current earnings. Check the video on how to use accrued earning report

The current earnings report allows you to track the amount of incentive dollars that have met the threshold and are now categorized as current earnings. Check the video on how to use current earning report

Files can be uploaded from the file upload tab on the home screen. Select your office from the dropdown as well as the type of report to upload. After selecting data type, you will be prompted to choose files from your local drive. Select the file and save changes. You can see your saved files in the saved files option under documents.

You will be prompted with the naming convention when uploading reports into the software; however, the naming convention is indicated below:

For 837 (billing) report:

  • Your practice identifier
  • “837”
  • The date in month, day, year format

Ex. ABCD 837 05 14 2021

For each file upload, your practice identifier (this will be provided to you) must precede the naming convention.

For appointment report

  • Your practice identifier
  • Your EMR followed by “APPT”
  • The date in month, day, year format

ABCD PRACTICUM APPT 05 14 2021

For Missing Service/Gap In Care Report:

  • Your practice identifier
  • The health plan followed by “MSR”

If daily appointment reports are not uploaded the data in the daily action list will show only the appointments from the most recent appointment report upload.

Depending on the subscription level, selecting and clicking on a dashboard will open up the report. If a report appears “greyed out” you can upgrade your subscription for full access to desired reports.

The missing service/gap in care dashboard shows an aggregated view of missing service/gap in care reports for all health plans. You can search for any patient within the reports. Check the video on how to use missing service report

The trimmed MSR dashboard segregates all the aggregated missing service/gaps in care into various categories. The categories that can be filtered into detailed reports are as follows: Check the video on how to use trimmed MSR report

The rebills, pending and appeals dashboard indicates in the rebills report any claims that have missing or incorrect ICD or CDT codes for billed encounters. After correction of the claim by the practice biller, the claim is resubmitted and remains in pending status for 60 days or for the specified time that the insurance company takes to adjudicate the claims. If the patient is still on the Missing service/gap in care report after that time period, it is determined that the claim was not accepted and the data is moved into appeals status for submission to the health plan as supplemental data.Check the video on how to use scorecard report

The appointment dashboard indicates all patient appointments to date and their respective missing service/gap in care.

The top patient record summary displays by patient each vaccination required and how many of the respective vaccinations have been administered. Additionally, the patients date of birth and due date for the vaccine is indicated. The report below indicates the detail of the date the patient had the vaccine administered and the ICD or CPT code use to quality reporting for the vaccine.Check the video on how to use Childhood Combo 3 report

The scorecard dashboard is used to display an overview by healthplan of the total amount of incentive funds available and the current amount of money earned to date. The detailed report is broken down by healthplan and measure and highlights the amount of patients left to be seen to achieve the threshold for earning the measure. The high blood pressure dashboards displays a cohort of patients with the controlling blood pressure measure from all of your aggregated missing service/gap in care reports. The controlling diabetes care dashboard displays a cohort of patients with the controlling diabetes measure from all of your aggregated missing service/gap in care reports. The breast/cervical/colorectal cancer screening dashboard displays a cohort of patients with the breast/cervical/colorectal cancer screening measure from all of your aggregated missing service/gap in care reports. The chlamydia screening dashboard displays a cohort of patients with the chlamydia screening measure from all of your aggregated missing service/gap in care reports. The care for older adult dashboard displays a cohort of patients with the care for older adult measure from all of your aggregated missing service/gap in care reports. To download any report in the software, click on the report. The report will be highlighted with a blue border. At the top right corner a small vertical box will appears. Click on the three small dots on the bottom of the box and you will be able to export to csv or to excel.

Healthfirst- To access the Member Services Report for Healthfirst, Inc., log into the provider portal, select the quality app, click on Member Services Report, once displayed you can export it as an excel file. Fidelis- To access the Member Services Report for Fidelis, log into the provider portal, click on File Downloads, select within last 60 days to search for the report, download the file named as YYYY QARR Month Non Compliance Report. Affinity- To access the Member Services Report for Affinity, log into the provider portal, select QIP Reports, QIP Report Analytics, click on TIN and then Gaps in Care. Metroplus, UHC and BCBS- reports are provided by the quality representative at the healthplan. Check the video on how to download a missing service/gap in care report

ECW- log into your EMR, select Billing, Batches, Date Range and search. Select the file and click on Save Batch File locally. Office Practicum- log into your EMR, select ADMIN tab, Admin Documents, select 837 as transaction type, select date range, include reviewed records, search, export to save the files Check the video on how to download an 837 report

ECW- log into EBO, select your specific Public folder, Administrative reports, Encounter patient download, select date range, select columns: Appointment date, patient name, patient DOB, Facility name, Primary insurance Name, click ok to run and save it on 2002 Excel format Office Practicum- log into your EMR, select Practice Management tab, Demographic Analysis, select dates, Active patients only, Show future appointments, search, export to save the report.
